Hi, I’m Carlos. I’ve been married to Jenny Fojo for 12 years now. We have two sons, Josiah and Elijah, with one additional son on the way—due 2021. I wish I could tell you that our marriage has only been filled with blessings of rainbows and bright blue skies. While those aren’t hard to come by having been born and raised in Miami, Florida, the sunshine state, the truth is we have been through quite a lot.

Specifically, my failure to deal with patterns of sinful behavior (aka addiction) put Jenny through quite a lot of pain and heart ache. When I betrayed Jenny, our marriage was on the line. Trust was gone, and I had to admit that I had a problem that needed serious attention. If you’re anything like me, you don’t like admitting defeat. You’d probably like to think that you have it all under control. I did. Yet, I was in a state of denial and it took our marriage blowing up for me to begin to see that it was going to take hard recovery work to make any changes.

While it hasn’t been easy, I can truly say that all of the counseling, workshops, work and money spent towards getting healthy and saving my marriage has been worth it.

has been a pastor for over 12 years. He began his work with students as well as local and oversees missions. He currently serves as the Digital Pastor at Christ Journey Church.
